Sodium

Sodium helps your body retain the fluids it needs to stay hydrated—especially when you’re sweating. It’s a critical electrolyte that supports endurance, performance, and consistent energy output.

Potassium

Potassium works with sodium to regulate hydration, nerve signals, and muscle contractions. It helps reduce cramps and keeps your body functioning smoothly during every mile.

Magnesium

Magnesium supports muscle recovery, nerve signaling, and energy production. Low magnesium can lead to fatigue and soreness, making this mineral key for consistent training.

Calcium

Known for bone health, calcium also plays a crucial role in muscle contraction and electrolyte balance. It helps your muscles fire properly so you can run strong.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does coffee dehydrate?

This is a myth. If you consume caffeine regularly it does not dehydrate. The formulation and added electrolytes improve hydration.

When should I drink it?

Long Run is meant to be consumed daily, wherever it fits your routine best. Electrolytes + caffeine are beneficial both before or after training.

How much caffeine is there?

Long Run has 100mg / 2 tbsp of coffee (one brewed cup).

Is it good to drink on off days?

Yes - electrolytes are good both on days you're running, as well as rest days.

Will it hurt my stomach?

Long Run is specifically formulated to be easy on your stomach. This is why many athletes choose us.

Is it gluten free?

Yes. Long Run is gluten free, plant-based, and tested for mold / toxins.

What are the benefits?

Long Run is coffee with electrolytes. It provides a stronger energy boost compared to regular coffee, and has hydration support. It's caffeine + electrolytes.

Does it taste salty?

No! We add electrolytes to increase the product's effectiveness, but we optimize for taste. You will not taste salt.

Is this instant coffee?

No. This is an actual, premium coffee. It can be brewed with any traditional method (drip, pour over, french press, espresso machine, etc.).

When should I consume it?

Consume daily, wherever it fits your routine best. Many consume before their run for a pre-run energy boost, while many consume post-run to help get them through the morning.

Yes - the average Long Runner consumes 2 cups daily. We recommend no more than 3-4 cups per day to maintain ideal hydration and energy levels.

Long Run Coffee does not have sweeteners. Flavored coffees use natural oil extracts to create the products flavor profile. Traditional coffees do not have any oil extracts.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will I feel groggy in the morning?

No - we only make appropriate, runner-friendly doses of melatonin tea. Enough to help you fall asleep fast and wake up feeling clear, not foggy.
